Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960 (Article 1 and Annex I), issued under Article 22a of Directive 2011/83/EU as inserted by Directive (EU) 2024/825, sets the design and content of the harmonised notice on the legal guarantee of conformity. It applies from 27 September 2026 (Article 3). The notice is artwork, normally an image with a QR code, so a text scanner can rarely see it. Whether and how it applies to you is for you and your adviser to assess.
It reads the public pages it can fetch (respecting robots.txt) and looks for signs of the notice: the official Your Europe link, references to the regulation, artwork file names. It reports one of four results: signs found, possible, no signs found, or inconclusive. "No signs found" only means nothing was found in the pages scanned.
It cannot see the checkout, order confirmation emails, text inside images, content built by JavaScript, iframes, CSS background images, PDFs, or pages beyond the scan limit. It does not judge whether the artwork, size, colours or placement are correct.
Annex I of the regulation states that none of the elements of the notice may be edited, that its QR code leads to the legal-guarantee section of Your Europe, and that for distance sales concluded through an online interface the notice must be in colour (RGB). Annex II is a separate instrument, the GARAN label for a commercial durability guarantee, with its own QR code. Resultatet er ét af: tegn fundet, muligt, ingen tegn fundet eller kan ikke afgøres. "Ingen tegn fundet" betyder kun, at der ikke blev fundet noget på de scannede sider. Scanningen kan ikke se kassen, ordrebekræftelser, tekst i billeder, indhold bygget med JavaScript eller sider ud over scanningsgrænsen, og den vurderer ikke grafik, størrelse, farver eller placering.
