Sustainability labels and logos

Annex I, point 2a

Annex I point 2a prohibits displaying a sustainability label that is not based on a certification scheme or established by public authorities.

Wording that suggests an own label or “certification”, and mentions of known schemes that you need to verify yourself.

What the scan cannot do

The scan reads text on public pages. It cannot judge documentation, certificates or context, and it never says a wording is allowed.
